Christmas Bus

A blog with a difference this week!  The proud entrepreneurial Boss of www.routemasterhire.com, Bernice Osborne, with her gorgeous husband, Ross, were invited along to Radio Verulam (92.6fm) yesterday to promote Radio Verulam and Routemasterhire’s new sponsorship deal.

There’s something about teaming up with other like-minded people, especially at this time of the year, that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

So, if you can picture the scene…  The top deck of a carefully restored circa 1966 classic London Routemaster passenger bus, happily making it’s way along Oxford Street and Regent Street, your own personal destination blind both front and rear, perhaps your corporate logo ‘wrapped’ around the sides of the bus, your colleagues and friends chinking glasses (imagination required here – the glasses are plastic. Elf and safety an’ all that, it wouldn’t do to have real glass on board a double decker bus.), wishing each other a happy and healthy start to 2016. 

As you wend your merry way around Trafalgar Square, tourists point at your shiny vintage Routemaster London bus, and, because you’re feeling full of festive cheer, you smile and wave at them while they take photos of you.  In someone’s photo album somewhere in the world, there’s you, grinning inanely with not a care in the world!

Really, it’s true, our buses make people HAPPY!  They’re fun.  They’re safe.  The drivers are all checked out and verified.  And our Hosts are all qualified Meeters & Greeters.  Your driver and host also know the history of the bus you’re currently riding on; whether it’s been abroad and driven around Europe, or maybe your bus has been a show bus parked in Earl’s Court helping to promote a company’s business.  Wherever or whatever your bus that day has been doing in a former life, the www.routemasterhire.com’s staff will be more than pleased to talk to you about it.
